I was out and about today and chanced on this grave. Totally by chance as I was not looking for it. I have known of Tom’s exploits for many years. Sadly the officer he protected and bought in died of his wounds and is buried in Meaulte Military Cemetery on the Somme. pic.twitter.com/kptFOgwhC5
